Work from home is a personal decision, and one that would see definite advantages for employers. Firstly this would reduce the overall cost to business owners in the way of overheads(running cost)and secondly through a reduction of people not coming into work because of sickness. Most people when they are sick can still preform their duties-the problem is getting into work. Also bear in mind the positive impact on the environment in the way of less car emissions, fuel savings, and energy consumption.

Work from home is an alluring concept, not everyone is productive from a home environment. If in fact, people truly stayed home, gave their engines and gasoline pollution a rest for the day, and were able to be with their families, even if they did not get much done, i’d argue that this would make them more productive and refreshed when they returned to work.
People who work from home can be mothers, fathers, students, retirees or teachers. And the ways in which each of these different demographics works from home is different. Some people own their own businesses while others are just beginning. Some people work from home in a way that supplements another job or income and others work from home because of a disability or the specific nature of their work. Some of these at-home businesses begin out of a necessity while others begin out of a passion for doing something they love. Whatever the reason and whoever the person, thousands of people each year are turning their homes into offices when it comes to finding work.
Work from home is that not everyone can do it. If you find that you are not capable of doing it, don’t worry 80% of people out there just don’t have what it takes. One of the things that people miss from working from home full time is that interaction you get in your office environment. To some, that interaction is exactly the reason to work from home. But i suggest that whenever possible, schedule a lunch break with a friend and mentally take that time off from work. De-socialization is a problem that can happen when people work from home (especially single people who have no humans living with them).
Add to that the fact that all you need to start is a PC and an internet connection, and you can completely understand why I say that you have to (and can allow yourself to) start thinking about simplicity, flexibility and profitability.
